The overwhelming flavor and nose is that of Sun-Maid Raisins, but with a little cherry in there, too. I like it, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Far North Bødalen Bourbon is this Minnesota estate-distillery's first bourbon whiskey. It is made from a mash bill of 60% heirloom corn, 35% Hazlet rye and 5% malt barley and was matured in Minnesota oak for 18 months. Bødalen (BO-da-lynn) is named for a Norwegian valley on the edge of a massive glacier. Available at the distillery only.

Long finish, surprisingly good for such a young age. Might be a 4, need to drink more. When you’re young you get sad, but not so with this whiskey.
I got cranberry upfront and finished more with caramel with a small amount of cinnamon spice. Decent pour for an 18 month old.
Caramel, spice, orange citrus. Very young & hot but can tell it would have mellowed nicely due to its balance.
Harsh. Altogether bad. Like a hot cough syrup, but without the medical benefits.
