Fee Brothers Old Fashion bitters is a poor man's Angostura bitters, packing much less of a punch. It's one of the original bitters (Fees, Angostura and Peychaud's are the only bitter brands that survived prohibition from what I've read) and while it may be a lesser version of Angostura, it still has a place in cocktails and works well in an old fashioned. There are a number of recipe books that call for this bitter (although you could use Angostura in its place, just may need to cut back a touch) and from the recipes that I have tried it works quite well. The nose has an old leather sofa aroma to it and there is a bit more bitterness as compared to many other Fees bitters. Overall, though, it's a solid aromatic bitter and for the price it's hard to complain. Again though, you could just use Angostura bitters in its place and be just fine, but then again, that could probably go for most aromatic bitters.

Compared to angostura, fee brothers adds more cinnamon to the cocktail. Decent herbal aftertaste. Still prefer angostura in my old fashioned

Holy clove bomb, batman. Very clove or allspice heavy, a bit sweet, definitely a different experience than Angostura or Peychaud's.
