About this bottle

Fettercairn's Warehouse Collection is an homage to the places where the distillery's malt whisky comes of age. The whisky was distilled in 2010 and matured in unseasoned casks and sherry seasoned butts from Vasyma, sherry barrels from Tevasa, ex-bourbon barrels and port pipes. The first release in this series is limited to 3,600 bottles.

A- amber +1, medium viscosity N- honey, vanilla, caramel, banana, pears, green apples, wet oak P- light spicy arrival, oily, medium full, medium rich, seltzer, honey, vanilla, caramel, banana, pears, green apples, rubber, wet oak F- short to medium finish, sweet-fruity-seltzer aftertaste C- bourbon fans you might love this one, just opened this bottle and to be honest I feel a bit disappointed was expecting something different or a bit more complexity since it has been aged on 5 different casks (American, European, sherry butts, sherry barrels and port) for me I'm just noticing the heavy bourbon influence nothing from the sherry and port, I will let it oxidized for a while and hopefully will get something more interesting
