FEW Flaming Lips Brainville Rye is a collaboration between psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips and Illinois-based FEW Spirits. This rye whiskey is named after the band's 1995 song, Brainville. It is made using rye, corn, malted barley and French wine yeast. Only 5,000 bottles were produced.

Few’s rye leans to the sweet side and this one veers too far in that direction for my taste, especially on the finish. It’s well made and easy to drink but aside from a little burst of spice in the middle it’s not my preferred style.
The nose is 100% banana bread. Not bad! After bourbon rye isn’t expected but I like rye and had to try this! Respectable, awesome band, would have been great if they infused something “flaming”.
Wonderful! Refreshing. It smells clean. I’m not sure how else to put it. Oops. Sorry love. Mint and honey notes. Later I got more citrus
