We tasted this along with their Finest whisky and the contrast is very clear. If you like your smokey/peaty whisky but dont want it to overpower every other tasting note this is a good whisky to try. For us, the nose didnt reveal the smokey/peary notes which made it a bit of a surprise. Thankfully no overly harsh finishes. This one might benefit from some water to open it a bit but we took it neat. I would add it to a tasting of peaty whiskys.

Nose. Light and malty with a hint of coastal breeze, some caramel and faint smoke. Palate. Orchard fruits, smoky peat and shortbread. Finish. Smoky, sweet… lush. It really lingers. A lovely NAS whisky, no colouring or chill filtration. Slightly older whisky than Batch #1.
