Gift from a friend who went to Kentucky First pour was hot. Ethanol forward. Added a cube and it mellowed out a lot. Gonna let the bottle breath a few weeks and revisit.
This was a new purchase for me, it is exclusive to Liquor Barn in Lexington. Lots of heat, on the palate, some caramel, fruit and smoke flavor. It has a long finish.
Intiail taste of spice easing into a sweeter tatse of salted caramel. Slightly smokey with a hint of savor. Despitre the inital kick, it is a very sweet pour.
Nose was heavy caremel and oak. Taste burned/hot at first, after rolling, it had a leather, vanilla taste. Finish was earthy, not hot
