Very pungent alcohol burn on the nose and the palate. I get very little if any of the described fruits and flavors, just burn. One of the bottom gins I have tasted.

Forty Spotted Rare Tasmanian Gin is made by Lark Distillery. It is made in a London dry style using botanicals such as juniper, coriander, and lemon peel. In addition, Tasmanian mountain pepper berry is used. Named for the rare Tasmanian bird forty-spotted pardalote which resides in the southeast corner of the island.

While I am a classic London dry gin drinker, this was a really nice departure. I really like their bush honey version.
