Four Roses Single Barrel Barrel Strength Bourbon - OBSQ

An intense, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Master Distiller Brent Elliott in Kentucky crafted with a mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye & 5% malted barley: using yeast strain K. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, nuts, herbs & spices; while a balanced life adds notes of vanilla creme brulee, wintergreen mint, chocolate & toffee bar; that led to a dry death of medium length with notes of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, black pepper, toasted oak & rye. Thick oily legs in the glass. Very floral nose, sweet syrup as well. Palate is similar, maybe leaning into maple syrup. Floral is dominate, but barrel char comes out and black pepper toward the end. Very distintive.

Bitter, spice, would not recommend
