The nose starts with charred oak, spicy yet floral rye, ripe fruit, along with touches of vanilla, caramel and brown sugar. It is quite enticing from the start with a swirl of different notes coming through with each sniff. The palate Is somewhat dry that chewy, filling the mouth with a tingling rye spice and a bit of an astringency. Then I'll quickly gives way to cream your notes of vanilla and brown sugar. Each sip remains chewy, and spicy yet smooth. It is a wonderful, rich expression giving you a bold taste of the best of Four Roses. The finish is medium long and chewy with lingering oak and spice as vanilla creaminess slowly fades away.
