Have a Shot of Freedom (HASOF) Whiskey Co. is a brand founded by military veterans Zach Hollingsworth and Scott Brown. Its mash bill consists of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley all grown from local CA farms. It is matured in new, charred oak barrels from South Carolina and bottled at 90 proof.

Very sweet with a mild vanilla and spice taste. Would probably taste a lot better if it were aged longer. Definitely tasted better on the rocks and the wife enjoyed very chilled. I don’t I will purchase again. Too bad, as I loved the concept of it being owned and ran by veterans.
Hints of vanilla and caramel. Not a pricey whiskey but good for a Monday evening.
