This is one of the first whiskies from this 48 year-old Japanese brand to be released in the states. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Japan and Scotland, including three different types of grain whiskey. It is bottled at 46% ABV and available as of October, 2021.

Slightly sweet maltiness on the entry with plenty of high notes of wood. Light, elegant and approachable. Perfect for a highball with club soda. There’s nothing here that will hit you over the head with flavor, just a rock solid whisky that has a sprightly, approachable character.
Honey and phyllo dough in the aroma, very clean with no spice character. More pomme fruit a few sips in. Sweeter flavor almost like biting into honeycomb or honey on cristini. So lots of honey.
