Crisp and clean, as an Eau de vie should be. I can't detect the subtle pear flavour, but others confirmed it Def had the nose and the taste....

G.E. Massenez Poire Williams Eau-de-Vie is made from ripe, hand-picked Williams pears. Around 20 pounds of fruit are needed to create just one bottle of eau-de-vie. The Massenez family has been distilling since the 1870s with third generation Gabriel Eugène Massenez establishing the brand in the 1950s.
