Pear Brandy was one of the first products made by St George Spirits after they were founded in 1982. They start with whole organic Bartlett pears, picked at the height of ripeness and distill in copper pot-stills. The goal here, as with all great eau-de-vie is to create a pure unaffected expression of the base distillate. About 30 pounds of fruit are used to create just one 750ml bottle.

A lovely freshly cut pear aroma greets the nose. Very fruit forward flavor with a round and somewhat creamy mouthfeel. The pear character comes through loud and clear. This is one of the best tree fruit brandies we’ve ever had the pleasure of reviewing. Obviously, they know what they are doing at St. George. We do like this as a digestif, but also it is amazing in a variety of brandy based cocktails.
Fresh intense pear on the nose with barely any heat. Extremely clean and rich taste; seems to have that juicy note you get near the pit. Very cocktail friendly & a household favorite.
