Garrison Brothers 94 Proof Single Barrel Select [Barrel # 16753 / Bottle # 101 / 47% ABV / Distilled & Barreled in 2019] is an intense, Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted with corn from Southwest Texas aged in American white oak barrels for 3 years. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, earth & spices; while a bold life adds notes of grains, vanilla, nutmeg, butterscotch & hay; that led to a woody death of medium length with notes of new oak, baseball glove & clay. August 2023

The first time I tasted this bottle (neck pour) I thought it tasted like motor oil. However, after a little time on the shelf, it has become one of my favorite bottles. Roubust flavors of Vanilla and Clove. Still a little oily, but that is now part of the character. I absolutely love it. I bought a backup for me and a bottle for a close friend.

Now this is something. It’s hot, but it’s so rich in flavor and complexity, it bursts straight through the ABV. Cherry, wood, cinnamon, leather, corn. Thick mouthfeel, rich flavor. Fantastic. One of the best high proof bourbons I’ve had.

Corn corn corn. Sweet corn in the nose. Super smooth sweet corn and vanilla on the palate. Amazed with the lack of burn/bite/heat for the proof. And the flavor for the age (3yrs) Pricey but worth it.

Aroma Texas strong fwd aroma. Vanilla nutty and caramel Taste Slight tart with peanuts and vanilla addictive taste. Makes you want to take another drink. Great stuff. 👍👍

Easily one of my Favorites. Great body and Flavor up front with lasting finish that just works so well. I had to buy another bottle a week later
