Light bodied for a sipping rum, but more savory and earthy than a common mixing rum. I agree with the given notes on the nose, but on the palate I'm getting more heavily toasted rye bread and near-burnt sugar, with wood smoke and toasted nuts on the back end.

Great all around rum. Definitely on the sweeter side, the portion of time where the rum is aged in their bourbon barrells pays off well. Very caramel like nose and taste at the beginnning. Very smooth finish. Great all-around use rum.
Different, not a typical rum for me, mostly bourbon notes charred oak & light leather, very faint vanilla & caramel.
Has an almost raisin/molasses note at the end.
