Glen Fohdry 29 Year Làn-Mheasan Port Wood Cask Finish

Natural Carmel color and great clarity. Nose is fruity, vanilla, Carmel, and a little boozy. The front is spicy, sweet, fruity, and a hint of vanilla. Finally finishes with an alcohol burn, leaving you with some smoke and peat, but not overwhelmingly so.

On the nose you get rich fruit notes and soft oak. The sip is exceptional, sweet vanilla and a strong oak that finishes with red fruit and currant. By far one of the best single malts I’ve had outside of Alexander Murray collections.
