Nose - Dried fruit, Honey light vanilla a perfume like alcohol. Taste - A smooth sweetness of dried peaches an apricot that has a light smoke of bourbon and that strength at the end of it to go along with it. Finish - Tart smokey tingle that has my mouth still filled with hints of everything I just tasted and smelled overall long lasting. P.s. sweeter with a cigar

A delicate, non-chill filtered single malt from Speyside, Scotland aged 6 years in new American Oak as well as 6 months in ex-Bourbon barrels. It has a sweet birth with notes of vanilla & fruit; while a rich life adds notes of grain, raisins, almond, exotic fruit & oak; that led to a complex & spicy death of medium length. October 2017 / January 2019 / August 2022
My overall winner of a 3-part Glen Fohdry tasting (Dublaich, Aiteal an Oir, Fion Frangach.) Like the others, the nose is a little harsh. Sweet oak vanilla on the palate, not as spicy on the finish. Fruits are there, but hard to decipher. All 3 had a mellow burn on the back end. Closest to a Founders Reserve, but not as smooth and not much depth. (AT)
I wanted it gone after a few drams. The tropical fruit was nice, especially banana, but it was way too sweet. It didn’t help that it was thin and disappeared from the palate as soon as I sipped.
Good but not excellent. Very low peat and harsh on the nose. A good starter scotch with a group of people in a tasting party. Floral finish
Toasted honey peanuts in the aroma. Vanilla honey peanut in the flavor. A few drops or water brings more vanilla and citrus in the aroma.
