Single barrel. Semi peaty
About this bottle
Tucked away in a remote valley in the Highlands, the Glen Garioch facility is known as the most easterly distillery in Scotland. It dates back to 1797, making it one of the oldest Scotch distilleries. The brand is known for its small batches of non-chill-filtered single malts. This 1991 vintage is aged 19 years in American oak and bottled at a burly 54.7%. It’s an increasingly rare taste of the distillery’s style from the days when they used pleated barley, which they do no longer.
