This one is good! Probabaly the best batch since 5. Compared to last years batch 8, this one has much more dark fruit upfront and vanilla brown sugar in the mid. It ends with a nice bittersweet oak. I think the bittersweet oak influence is coming from the 17 year bourbon, albeit only 7% of the blend. The finish lingers, reminding me of dark chocolate.

I get alot of cherries, chocolate, dark bitter oak but very pleasant and almost a dark chocolate note. This is really good!
Easy drinking, and well above average. Though it's a "thin" bourbon that could remind some of a cheaper bourbon
