Yup. Its that good. Way better the 18 year and slightly edges out the cask strength batches which are my favorite of the line up. 18 was food but finish disappeared to fast. 15 has the whole package. Nose pallate and finish.
About this bottle
The Glendronach — meaning "Valley of the Brambles" in Scotch Gaelic — was founded in 1826 by James Allardice who discovered that sherry casks from Spain paired well with his Highland spirit. This 15 Year expression is one of three core single malt whiskies in the brand's portfolio. The packaging for the whisky has been updated in 2024 to highlight the brand's use of Spanish sherry casks for its maturation. Here, oloroso & Pedro Ximenez casks were used. Bottled at 46% ABV, the new bottles will be available in the US beginning October 2024. (SRP $105.99)
