Rested for forty-seven years in an ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogshead, this whisky was distilled in 1968 at the Glendronach Distillery in the Highlands region of Scotland. With only 301 bottlings produced from Cask no. 5837, this offering represents the oldest and rarest stock that the distillery has in its stores. It was released in a series of single-barrel, cask strength offerings that showcase Glendronach's signature 100% sherry-matured style at different ages. Bottled at the cask's strength of 45.9% ABV.

Phenomenal. Loaded with chocolate, dark dried fruits, berries, and spices backed by a meaty background and a syrupy mouthfeel.
