I get a definite white wine aroma with sweet, crisp red apple. I'm getting the bourbon flavor but thankfully it's mild. It almost has a carbonated wine mouth-feel but without the bubbles. I know, odd. But it's smooth, almost fruity, with that peppery scotch hit. I dunno but this is much better than the Dalwhinnie Distiller's Edition...and i really like Dalwhinnie. Not a follower of limited editions but this one turned out quite tasty, definitely not a step up from the 15 YO, yet it was pleasantly rich and smooth, more of a treat than a serious dram though.
Very light and easy to drink with good depth. Nice sweetness and balance of oak and vanilla with barley. Very good if you prefer bourbon aged scotch, just a solid sipper.
A massive step up from the regular 12 year. Light toffee, lots of biscuit and vanilla, hint of fudge but nothing like the Jameson Triple. Good, but not a good value.
Fun having a themed aston martin ,but not much different then the typical 14 year. Maybe a little smoother .
