Glenmorangie Signet Reserve

Add a layer of raisins and raspberries to the signet’s dark chocolate, tiramisu and mocha and glenmornagie’s peach and coconut notes you get a masterpiece. Nose: Raisins, Tiramisu, Dark Chocolate, Apricots, Burnt Honey, Raspberries, Morello Cherries, Orange Rinds, Ginger, Grapefruits, Date Syrup, Coconuts, Peaches, Buttercream Frosting Palate/Finish: Raisins, Dark Chocolate, Tirimasu, Mocha, Vanilla, Cloves, Blood Oranges, Nutmeg, Makuna Honey, Grapefruit, Coconuts, Peaches

This was tasted in a double blind. The dram came in sixth out of six entries. The virgin oak is so dominant that it was suspected to be a bourbon. Heavy tannic and ok notes, hints of coffee and chocolate. Nose is good but it falls apart on the taste. They tried to do too much and it is a fail.
