So dark it looks like an aged rum. Palate is oak, leather and a touch of sweetness. The alcohol is noticeable but not so hot that it’s undrinkable. This is an interesting one....not complex not horrible but it’s lacking something....it just seems to fall apart somewhat on the finish.

Really strong bourbon with major oak notes. There are some smooth undertones that help balance out the extra rye and barrel strength alcohol. Adding some water or melting ice makes it a bit easier to sip.
You can definitely tell the increased rye. There is heat with vanilla, caramel ending.
Beautiful dark color. Smooth caramel and oak . Long finish. excellent!
121.6 proof skunky smell very dark - just ok for $40
