Glentauchers 17-Year-Old - Batch 2 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) A balanced, Speyside Whisky, Batch 2 of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Glentauchers was revealed in April 2016 with a release of 508 bottles. It has a birth with notes of chestnuts, Campino sweet, slightly syrupy & a hint of menthol; while a dry life adds notes of sweet malt & soft wood spice; that led to a delicate & clean death with notes of nutty oak. December 2017 / August 2018 / 2022

Dramfest '18. Stunning dram. One of if not my top dram of the nearly 40 I had on the day. $115 USD and a 4.5. Rounding up to 5. Only 508 bottles made so get in quick! Update: Another day another taste. Still a great dram but maybe more a 4.25.

Vanilla, Bourbon Barrel, Caramel, Dried Fruit, Apricot
