As it is opening, the stout finish becomes more apparent. Balanced nose. Although finished for only 3 months, the stout seems to overtake the Bourbon. Something seems off and out of balance on the finish. This sits on shelves for a reason; it's not balanced, and overpriced! The distillery is unknown, but believe it to be in KY. My score was 79

About this bottle
This is a Kentucky bourbon that is fully matured in traditional new, charred American oak. It is then finished in a Goodwood Brewing stout barrel for an additional 3-4 months. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Holy smokes it’s great! Love the sweetness, kind of salted caramel. Not too much burn- got to love it!
