At Tequilera Puerta de Hierro (NOM 1477), Maestro Tequilero Gildardo Partida Melendrez uses 100% blue weber agave grown in both regions of Jalisco ---the Los Altos and Tequila Valley. Twice distilled in pot stills, the tequila then rests for 6 months in French white oak barrels. The "Gran Cava de Oro" brand is the export name to the US and Canada for "Cava de Oro," which is distributed only in Mexico.
