A rich, Single Malt Scotch from Highland, Scotland aged for 14 years in oak casks & finished in Pedro Ximinez casks before being bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of stewed berries & caramel; that led to a smoky death of medium length with notes of oak, burnt vanilla & toasted almonds.

Very clean on the nose, a bit of a bite on the tongue. Slightly more than a hint of smoke, and maybe a bit of sour lemon, but otherwise not overpowering. Not bad, and definitely drinkable, but hoping for a little bit more.
Nose of toffee, almonds, burnt sugar, marshmallows, raisins, vanilla. Palate smoke, grain, burnt sugar, vanilla and bitter orange peel. Soft, smooth finish with a touch of smoke.
Fruity, plum, cherry, slightly smoky and peaty, nutty. Medium complexity, medium long finish.
Light smoke but one dimensional with plumy and fruity notes.
A poor man’s Johnnie Blue as a single malt. Very smooth!
