This whiskey packs a punch at cask strength. First impression is spicy and creamy. Carmel and vanilla notes fight through the spice. Add a few drops of water or a small ice cube and this bourbon opens up with baking spices and more carmel goodness. The sweet notes are balanced with a hint of black pepper and leather. Overall very good pour at a great price point.
