Guaro CACIQUE

A traditional spirit from Costa Rica made from sugar cane. Clear color, pure alcohol on the nose, but slightly sweet and unexpectedly smooth (probably, due to the lower alcohol content). Definitely, good for mixing but, can be sipped on the rocks (add a wedge of lemon or any other garnish for a hint of flavor). If you go to Costa Rica, you must give it a shot... ¡Pura Vida!

The description here isn't accurate, it's more like a vodka with a nice smooth entry followed up by some spirit in the middle and sweetness on the finish. Makes a great 'sour' and is drinkable by itself. Don't be put off my the price, and whoever said it was 'firewater' hasn't tried it.
