About this bottle

Hardin’s Creek is a collection of rare, experimental whiskeys from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. Its Warehouse Series—a three-part exploration—examines how warehouse design, height, and microclimate influence maturation. Each Kentucky straight bourbon in the series was aged 11 years with the same mash bill and bottled at 110 proof. Each release features a symbolic character tied to its warehouse environment. The Owl was matured in Warehouse G, a nine-story structure in Clermont, Kentucky. Available in select markets beginning October 2025. (SRP $149.99)

Swahili1 3.3

Nose- Floral with notes of honeysuckle, clover honey, vanilla pudding. Reminds me alot of Legent without the berry flavors from the wine finish. Palate- at first pour I was disappointed. It is oaky and dry. The flavora do not pop, and border on just weird! This is not anything like Beam that you write hime about- old Bookers, well aged KC 120, etc. It is OAK, with a touch of sour cherry/sweet tart. There are no peanuts, no caramels, just oak and tartness. As it opened it grew on me for it's different palate and drinkability. Finish- the finish is long and goes out on tart cherry candy

Second time reviewing now that this has opened some. True to my original notes, but a bit more balanced. It is still an oddball but growing in me. Still not worth the price of admission though
