Heaven's Door Cask Strength Bourbon Single Barrel Select (2021 Release/ Barrel 76 / Bottle #167) A rich, Cask Strength Bourbon by Bob Dylan & Marc Bushala founders of Heaven's Door Spirits distilled in Indiana & aged in Tennessee; made with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye & 4% malt; aged in American White oak barrels with a #3 Char, medium toast, at Rick level 2/43/5; before being bottled at 61.95% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, dried fruits, nuts & spices; while a rich & balanced life adds notes of corn, oak, vanilla, caramel, hazelnut & all spice; that led to a long & warming death of medium length with a hint of rye, coriander & cinnamon. December 2021 / August 2022

Color: dark amber. Nose: almonds and baking spice. Palate: spice forward, strong almond flavor. Finish: warm lingering spice. 8.5/10- First taste of Heaven's Door. Will definitely try others. EDIT: I find myself going back to this quite often for the mouthfeel. It's thicker than most bourbons and quite pleasant.

Cherry and vanilla on the nose. Spicyness is strong and continued light notes of cherry. Ice doesn’t change anything. Still a strong spice. Not my favorite

Surprisingly quiet at first but ends with some spice. Sits well and easy to sip
