Henderson, 80% grain neutral spirits, 20% bourbon. "Crafted and bottled in Texas by southwest spirits." Aroma: cigar box/tobacco notes, sour apple/fruity, bourbon notes. Taste: like a cigar box/oak forward, this changes as the whisky breathes, grainy, vanilla sweetness, some bourbon fruitiness. Very smooth. Wooden top with synthetic cork. A very decent blended whisky for the price. Cost: 7.99 plus tax Grade: B- Revisited on 7-20-22 Aroma: only vanilla, like eggnog almost Taste: vanilla, sweet with a little sourness, very one/two note Cost: 10.99 plus tax Grade: D Probably an older bottle or bad batch, had plastic top instead of wood. Color was a lot lighter, this smelled and tasted nothing like the first time I tried this. I ended up dumping the bottle out of disappointment. Note: the Henderson's website is now showing a different label and calling it vanilla flavored whisky.

I gave it a 3 for its value. Far from the best whiskey I’ve drank, but for the cost I expected far worse. Strong vanilla notes and very sweet, almost like vanilla extract was added in. Drinkable, but not great. If you’re on a budget though, and not trying to impress anyone, it gets the job done.
I knew it was cheap when I bought it. I missed the part on the back of the label where it says it’s 20% Bourbon and 80% neutral grain spirits. There’s lots of vanilla and it’s pretty sweet but that’s kind of the end of it. It almost seems more like a flavored alcohol versus an actual whiskey.
This is a vanilla whiskey but versy subtle on the vanilla which is nice. This is my daily go to in an old fashion. Not gonna lie, that is mainly due to its low cost. I like it, you might not, but for $8 for a 750mL it’s worth a try if you find it.
Bought this because it was extremely cheap, and had decent reviews. It actually is sweet, but also quite harsh. It is worth spending $2 more for Early Times if you want the same sweetness with a much smoother finish.
Labelled in store as best whiskey you never heard of. Lots of vanilla on the nose; smooth, creamy caramel taste.
