First time with Hidden Barn. Heard some good things.Overall, this tastes very young. On the nose you can smell corn with some light oak. Taste is where the youth really shows. Corn is the predominant flavor with some caramel and oak. It’s not complex or indulgent. The finish is long and warming. Not sure this was worth the $65 price tag but I am glad I tried it.

Nose is intensely alcoholic, with sweet vanilla behind it and a subtle fruity smell behind that. Taste is hidden behind that high proof, but if youre into that, and can get past it, the fruity profile is more forward than the vanilla, but for me, its really hard to get past the initial bite. Wouldnt drink neat.
Nose is different, like a smokeless scotch. Malty with some grassy notes The first sip shows a nice and think / full but not oily mouthfeel. Second sip notes of chocolate/coffee with walnut oatmeal, hints of dried orange slightly bitter (but in a good way)
