This release starts with the brand's Barrel Proof whiskey — a cask strength blend of straight whiskeys with a high rye mash bill. It is then finished in a new charred oak barrel for an additional 6-12 months. It is bottled at 100 proof.

Nose: Spiced orange peel, apple and some astringent oak. Palate: mellow flavors, caramel little oak and hint of a spice. Just tastes aatringent and young. Nothing conolex and short finish. Not a traditional double oak, not worth the price
Light smoke, heavy oak, vanilla, leather, sweet up front and a bit bitter on the end, easy to drink on the rocks.
Reminds me of Henry McKenna. Heavy vanilla. Less spice but still spicy. More oak. Nice
Rye notes strong on the aroma. Rye tast up front. Little burn on the finish.
Tastes like herbal black tea. No kick, no burn.
