[9.30.23] First off, a huge thanks to High Bank for sponsoring the Pelotonia Gravel Day. Great ride, amazing cause - proud every year to suffer through these rides and change lives. Even happier to come back to the finish line and be greeted with some whiskey and a country cover band. Plain Jane for me, and I dont have a problem with it. Those are similar thoughts to what I had about Watershed the first time and it has grown into something awesome. These guys/gals are next. Seen the barrel room and they have good things coming. Will need to track down the barrel proof because this is more a reliable mixer base than a sipper.

A sourced whiskey. Not a problem but it's only aged 2 years. High rye to make up for how young it is. Distillary is a nice place with good food and cocktails. enterested to see what this place does once they age thier own juice.
A rye-heavy mash bill that has a hint of pepper spice on the front and an overall smooth and sweet experience for the palate. Aged no less than 2 years.
Tastes like thin sweet tea. Young, unbalanced, and overly priced. You can reach for a $15 bottle shelf bottle and get something better
I like the barrel proof better, but this isn’t terrible. I’ve tasted better for a lot less
Good old-fashioned corn whiskey with a good protein of rye to add character.
