About this bottle

This Single Grain Irish Whiskey is the 7th singular limited release from High n' Wicked. This release was made in collaboration with the rum brand Foursquare. Beginning with a single grain whiskey distilled in Co. Cork, Ireland (95% French corn, 5% Irish malted barley), the whiskey was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels. It was then finished for six months in barrels which formerly held Foursquare Mark X 2007 Barbados rum. Bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtrations or additives, it's available in select US markets beginning February 2024. (SRP $79.99)

AnttiRG 4.5

A rich, Irish Single Grain Whiskey created by Altamar Brands & founded by W. L. Lyons Brown, III. It is crafted with a mash bill of 95% French maize & 5% Malted Irish Barley aged for a minimum of 3 years before being finished in Foursquare barrels & then bottled at 100 proof. It has an aromatic birth of grain, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of rum molasses, vanilla, fig & mango puree; that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes of lemon custard, coconut, treacle, almond, hazelnut, nougat, clove & cinnamon. Spirited Away 4.0

Day No. 16 This was a deceptive one. At first, the aroma was off-putting. It was almost like smelling isopropyl alcohol. After letting it rest for a bit and taking my first sip, things changed dramatically. The nose yielded muddled mixed fruit with banana winning at times. A sprinkle of baking spice as well. The flavor expressed its rum barreling roots. There was a tropical influence with lemon leading the charge. Hints of coconut and clove lingered midway and towards the finish along with a side of 🌽. An interesting and unique Irish for sure.

Kinda smells perfume to me. Also some very subtle fruits that i smell. As you sip exploding with flavor. Coconut flavor stands out to me with alittle zest. Cinnomon shows up at the very end. Very smooth. No dry mouth. Loved it alot.

Fredrink 4.3

Sweet tropical fruits, pineapple, and mango on the nose. A smooth and very sweet palate for the abv. Initial pineapples and coconut lead into a finish that brings butterscotch and hints of baking spices.

Advent #16. Clear pale gold body thick legging. Spicy fruity toffee honey aroma. Honey, fruit, toffee spice herbal flavor. Medium body moderately heavy warming. 7/3/8/3/15 3.6

CarpeCaseus 4.5

Sight: Pale yellow. Almost a white wine look. Smell: Smells like rum. No bite. Fruity. Taste: Not peppery. A little warmth going down. So smooth. Tasty and might I say fresh.
