High West American Prairie Bourbon Barrel Select PX Sherry Cask

This is another banger from the series that sadly we will probably never see again Due to high West selling out to the soulless corporation that has destroyed so many labels before it however as a dying gasp and a sad Souvenir of what once was and could’ve been but now isn’t and won’t be again, this is an excellent way to end the journey. This series has been exceptional and this one is no exception, if you pardon my poor phrasing. Smooth, not too heavy in the sherry zone, it checks all boxes and retains that strong bourbon bite. I love this and I’m sad that I’ll never be able to have it again.

I was a little disappointed with this initially. After opening the bottle the flavors and taste greatly improved. Brown sugar/cotton candy aroma with the notes to match the flavor. Spicy finish too!
