Highland Park, 14 year old, 2004, connoisseurs choice Gordon & mcphail First of all, 59% AB, too strong for me. I had to dilute it down and even then not happy with the results. I wasn’t able to find the right dilution with my small sample. Aroma peaty, alcohol , strong, bacon, cooked fruit It seems to be that most of the nice qualities of normal Highland Park are hidden by peat and the heavy alcohol. Taste peat, bacon, cooked fruit, orange peel, anise, hint of grapefruit Finish medium long, smoky, peaty, fruity Nice finish Left in glass, Maple syrup Sample
