Hints of oak, very smooth. Not very sweet but it has a sweet notes like Smarties. But more very earthy. Like leather & wood & soil. Like misty air & grass. It's a very pleasant. Nice a peaty. A enjoyable drink over ice or straight up. Definitely a good Scotch whiskey. Well worth the drink
