Picked up a store pick single barrel bottle yesterday. I find it to be better than the “regular” Baby Bourbon. Lots of CORN on the nose upon pouring then opens up to sweet, salty caramel, oaky notes. On the palate it is thin but all aforementioned notes discernible. Finish is somewhat short and dry...Easy drinking, neat sipper.
Nose: strong apple, caramel and wintergreen. Toffee and vanilla. Taste: heavy burnt hay and wintergreen with tobacco. Strong woody and fruity finish of apple and peaches drizzled with caramel.
More like a 3.6. Molasses on the nose. Light in the palette. Butterscotch. Not much spice.
What just happened to my mouth. Very odd flavor, not for me
Easily a sipper with just a slightly odd after taste
