Spice with sweet vanilla and cocoa. This is a rye so it’s spice forward. Body is rich and flavors remain discrete form front to back of the tongue. Some leathe and tobacco resonance but atays in the background. I find it to be an altogether enjoyable dram at a descent price. Plus, for me, it’s a regional distiller that will continue to get my support.
