While it's kind of cool to have a clear Añejo, it was very unnecessary. I can't help but feel like distinct flavors and aromas were removed for the sake of unique visual appeal. The flavor profile felt very flat compared to a regular añejo. The sharpness of the tequila really stands out compared to lack of everything else. I bought this because it was on sale and had a cool bottle. I have since learned that was a terrible idea.

The nose when warm is straight up vanilla frosting, which is sharply contrasted with the clean, herbal, almost minty taste. Definitively a step down from the añejo.
Sweet on nose, no alcohol burn at all. Finish has a slight hint of oak. Sweet berry on palate
