Wow, so much flavor and so smooth for 116 proof. Just one big block cube of ice and i can sip on this one for a long time. I really love this whiskey, and i can't believe it was only $40.00. Great value. It say's on the label it was made with Passion and Purpose. The way all whiskey should be in my opinion. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

About this bottle
This expression begins with a sourced 116 proof bourbon that is made from a mash bill of corn, rye, and barley. It is then transferred into steel tanks and infused with new French oak, ex-bourbon barrel, and a blend of sherry cask staves. It is bottled at original cask strength.

Cake batter and an overwhelming aroma of melted butter on the nose, as well as maraschino cherries as it sits, the wood cask, snicker doodles. Velvety and rich on the palate. Notes of caramel, heat not pronounced per the cask strength. Slight mineral finish.
Batch #5. Aroma is french vanilla, oak, and burnt sugar. Flavor is caramel, oak, and vanilla, with the vanilla being particularly prominent. Aftertaste is corn and rye, with toasted bread.
Red hot, cherry-cinnamon on the nose. Pleasant. Losing me in the taste....elmers glue - hint of maraschino cherry quickly followed and dominated with burnt Michelin tires from a 96 accord
Cherry cordial nose. Red hots and old dried spiced cherry in the taste. It’s pungent with ethanol and doesn’t have the sweet backbone that I crave in most bourbons.
I know the approach here is unorthodox but this is undeniably good juice. Sherry is strong, it’s hot but smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Well done.
