INSÓLITO Reposado Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila brand backed by American country band Midland in collaboration with brothers Octavio & Alberto Herrera, owners of Premium de Jalisco which makes the tequila. The distillery, located in the town of Mazamitla, Jalisco is the highest distillery in Mexico at an elevation of 7200 feet. I is made from a blend of Tequila Valley (20%) and Los Altos (80%) agaves. The reposado expression aged in new American oak barrels for 6-10 months. Available in Texas as of February 2020 with other markets expected to follow.

Neat. Beautiful deep straw color. Aroma is unique. Cooked agave, honey, charred oak, floral, banana and vanilla. Taste is very sweet. Heavy caramelized agave, honey, vanilla dominate with some oak, pepper, floral, and hints of baking spices. Finish is sweet and a little tart with vanilla and oak. Too sweet and vanilla for my taste, but plenty of people love that..
Smooth and great tasting. Typically dont like agave or tequila as much, but this, I would totally drink again.
Vanilla and light caramel flavors. Very sweet honey flavor with maybe a little flower flavor
