Iron Fish Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Sherry Casks

Single Barrel Barrel # 1179 Proof 116.4 Notes of orange, cherry, and berry on the nose. Some mint. Those fruit notes appear on the palate, but more tart at the beginning. I noticed some apple before more of a sweeter cherry shows up on the finish, which ends on a dry note. It's a little hot, but not terribly so.

Very sweet and delicious. The sherry aging gives this a great mouth feel, thick and buttery.

Great dynamic flavor, but hot stuff with a lot of burn.

Cranberry/cherry flavor. Very good.
