Isle of Harris The Hearach First Fill Oloroso Cask Matured

Subtle peat compliments the sweet, over-ripe fruits - plums, apricots jam, orange cake, salt. The taste is fruity forwarded, plums, nectar of fruits, more salt and warming spices than peat here. Absolutely fantastic for such a young whisky. Totally better than the bourbon casks. Fantastic touch of the wood, where the spirit stays strong.

Alcohol forward, sharp but smooth. Kinda playdoh / rubber coming through, in a good way
