Bittersweet tobacco on the palate, yet it finishes a bit hot and sweet. I don't know why it's not 5 stars, but during a whisky tasting I kept going back to Wiser's Legacy and Johnnie Walker Select Rye Casks.

Heavy wood and caramel on the nose. The palate is lively almost carbonated feeling. Taste follows the nose with wood caramel and maybe a touch of smoke. The finish is woody and slightly dry.
I got a lot of char on the nose, but even after that the peatiness of it caught me off guard. As it warms, I get a bit of caramel sweetness with a long warm finish.
4.0. Great Smokey, Woody nose from the oak barrels. Taste was and sweet. The finish has a hint of corn which was unexpected. I would say worth the price
Smokey, woody nose. Confirmed on the taste. Sweet yet light and pretty smooth. I tried it at the distillery and really enjoyed it.
Woody, slightly smoky, nicely malty. Lots of flavor, but not particularly spicy. Great amber color.
