Nose: Cinnamon flavoured chewing gum or sweets. Palate: Sickly sweet arrival. Mildly warm cinnamon, but much less intense than expected. It starts low and easy, builds a little in intensity, then falls away. That’s it. There is no “development” in the accepted sense. Finish: Short. Trace cinnamon. A mild buzz in the aftertaste. Like the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey this is more a liqueur than a whisky – in fact even more so. Cinnamon is the sum total of the experience, and it’s not even a particularly intense encounter. It’s not as horrific as I had thought it might be but in the long run it seems trivial. It does not have the complexity of a good liqueur, nor does it have the personality of a good whiskey – in fact any whiskey presence is completely masked and this may as well be based on neutral spirit. The aroma and flavour are so generic and engineered it reminds me more of a mass-produced soft drink than anything that should issue from a distillery. Hell would have to freeze over and I’d be doing axels on the ice for Old Nick before I’d buy a bottle of this. Tasted from a 50ml distillery miniature. “Pointlessly Poor - why does this exist?” : 60/100 (1 star)

1.0 and i am very mercyful here. This is not whiskey, rather a cinnamon liquor. Bottled at 35%abv, burnished color. On the nose, Cinnamon. Like a Cinnamon roll. Makes your nose tickle. You then say, this might be something worth my while. Nothing else appears on the nose. On the palate is horrible. Is like a taking a spoon of cinnamon syrup, feels like it is giving you diabetes in that moment. Thick bodied it "palls" you. (i looked up for the word "pall", since i didn't know how to say "empalagar" in english)(what i meant was: it is too sweet that your mouth breaks down). The aftertaste is long and sugary, too horrible, like a spoon full of sugar. I dont know if some drinks this, i had to toss it away, may God have mercy on the souls that made this "whiskey".

I just bought a bottle to try since it was on sale. It also came with a free shot glass which is nice. On the nose, it smells like a softer version of Fireball but it tastes too light. I like the cinnamon red hot flavor it first has but that goes away very quickly. I did mix 1 oz of this with a bottle of Apple Orchard Hard cider and it was good but the flavor is still not strong enough to create the apple pie flavor that Fireball has. I am sad to say that the shot glass was the best part of the purchase. I will not keep this in my bar.

Oh boy. What a treat… I’ll keep this short and simple, because, in all likelihood, no one will read this or give a hoot. It smells like cinnamon with a hint of whiskey. It tastes like cinnamon with a hint of whiskey. Huh. Well, what’d you expect? Reminds me of Fireball, but the whiskey notes are a little more pronounced and the cinnamon is a little less smooth. There’s a weird Clorox flavor in there that doesn’t bother me as much as it should. For what it is, it’s not bad. At least it’s not peanut butter flavored.

I think this is a more mature, less “frat boy”, version of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. I enjoyed the more subtle approach to the cinnamon flavor. This is a flavored bourbon that you can sip and enjoy… versus taking shots of Fireball.
