Enjoyable. Nice classic nose eith just a touch of astringency. Taste follows the nose …. just a tad hit but again nothing that is offputting. Finish is warming and a highlight of the pour. Good initial batch from them. Definitely beyltter than the new 4 year full proof rrom Willett and cheaper. If you have a choice pick this one k er the Willett.

Nose: Chocolate, earthy tones, caramel Palate: Sugar, rye forward, vanilla coating, baking spice. Overall: Exceptional and unique. Long finish. The high rye plays nice. The whiskey is dense and jam oacked with flavor. I have not had something like this. Assuming the western Kentucky climate plays an impact. Well done!
